Shopping is the best way to get out into New Orleans’ neighborhoods and meet the people that make the place. Go antiquing and “boutiquing” for 60 blocks along Magazine Street. Scope out art, antiques, and collectibles in the French Quarter. Dress yourself up at stores like Saks and Brooks Brothers at The Shops at Canal Place. Roam the shops and restaurants at The Outlet Collection Riverwalk and The Shops at Jax Brewery by the river. Find souvenirs, art, clothing, and produce at the historic French Market. Visit the city’s main drag, Canal Street. And explore the art galleries, restaurants, and museums of the thriving New Orleans Arts District and the up-and-coming St. Claude Arts District.
